I fell asleep last night with your voice on my eyelids, heavy and caressing, I heard the northern downpour and I thought of you. There wasn't much to say in the silent, starry air. But I thought of you. Your face that doesn't fade, the singer that keeps us all alive. I sometimes wonder. Because this ground we're standing on - it's slippery. You convince me we're still okay.
